J.T. Playaz

The J.T. Playaz started with two members in Jefferson, WI recording music in the basement. David Rios as Producer and Hilario ‘H.P.’ Hernandez on the mic, these two got the attention of local Dj Jaime “Vicious” Vega. These two forces joined with the release of “Doin My Thang” featuring Vicious on the track as well. Since that collab Dj Vicious Vega became an official member of the rap group acting as both Dj & recording artist. Quickly the group gained popularity and started performing in local spots in Southern Wisconsin. JTP picked up two new members along the way Eddie “2-Tone” Hudson & Mario “Real” Roque. With Eddie on the vocals and hook they recorded there 1st big single “Keep It On Da Low” which brought their name to the top. The completion of there full length album took them to new heights, now performing in Milwaukee, Madison & Janesville.
With the success of there 1st album they gained some new fans, we call them “the haters”. J.T. Playaz second album fell short of completion, due to the struggles they faced in the streets. They lost a member in the group but before, they recorded their newest hit singles “What It Do” and “We Be Hustlin”. The loss of H.P. was a devasting blow but they recruited a new member Joey G Contreras which lead to their latest hit “We In Da Club”. JTP’s hardship was a roller coaster, which ended in the seperation of the group. Although they went there seperate ways the love of the music never left any member of the group. H.P. still recording tracks across the country, Dj Vicious Vega still Djing & DR still producing, a year later they found themselves working together again releasing two new tracks with many more to come. There 1st stop is the 608 Tour in Watertown, WI on july 30th, 2011.
